Feed Balance Tank
Feed balance tank capacity 500 L, in SS316, with level switch arrangement. Provided with standard nozzles and outlet valve. Cylindrical with dished bottom and open top complete with

Centrifugal Feed Pump - LKM make
Centrifugal pump, capacity approx 11,000 kg/hr with mechanical shaft seal and electric motor for transferring feed from feed balance tank to EI through the preheaters. The feed pump will be with VFD (Danfoss/ABB/equivalent make). All product contact parts are in SS 316.
Stainless Steel 316 Piping.
To interconnect the various equipment in the plant on a compact layout basis.
Feed flow indicator and control.
To control an accurate feed flow to effect I. It consists of a magnetic flow meter and variable frequency drive.
Preheaters – M6M - 3 Qty
Designed for heating duty. The plate pre-heater consists of gasketed plates. The plate pack is assembled between a frame plate and a pressure plate and compressed by tightening bolts. MOC - Plates SS316, NBR gaskets, frame and tightening bolts MS.
Plate Evaporators - AlfaVap 350 - 3 Qty
Shall be of special design for evaporation duty. The plate evaporator consists of cassette, of welded and gasketed plates. Evaporation will take place in gasketed channels while heating media will flow through welded channels. The plate pack is assembled between a frame plate and a pressure plate and compressed by tightening bolts.
MOC - Plates SS316 , NBR gaskets, frame and tightening bolts MS.
Thermo Vapour Recompressor (TVR) - 2 Qty
These are placed over effect 1. One TVR shall operate while the system is operating at a turned down capacity, while both the TVR’s shall operate while the system operates at 100% capacity. Each TVR is selected to handle the 60% of the capacity individually.
It consists the motive nozzle, discharge nozzle and suction nozzle. The material of construction is SS316.
The make is Mazda / equivalent.
Vapour Separator - 3 Qty
In SS316 construction for effective separation of carry over liquid from evaporated vapours using centrifugal principle.
Unit is provided with following fittings:

Transfer & Recycle Pumps – LKM make - 5 Qty
Centrifugal pump with mechanical shaft seal and electric motor for transferring feed from one pump to another and recycling the product in each effect. All product contact parts are in SS 316.
Recycle Pump for last effect shall be supplied with VFD.
Product Pump –make Roto
Two stage Screw pump with mechanical shaft seal and electric motor for transferring concentrate from last effect to the battery limit. All product contact parts are in SS 316 and stator in food grade EPDM.
Capacity: Suitable so as to handle Pomegranate as well as Mango at 65 & 21 deg Brix respectively.
Screw Pump shall be supplied with VFD and ON/OFF signal shall be given thru Level Control loop attached to last effect separator.
Surface Condenser – AlfaCond 400
Designed for condensation duty. The plate condenser consists of gasketed plates. The plate pack is assembled between a frame plate and a pressure plate and compressed by tightening bolts.
MOC - Plates SS316 , NBR gaskets, frame and tightening bolts MS
In S.S. 316 for interconnecting various equipment in welded Construction.
Condensate and vent Piping
In SS 316 to interconnect various equipment
Steam Ejector – Mazda / Equivalent.
Two stage steam ejector system with condenser and other peripherals is offered for vacuum generation in the evaporator. The MOC for the ejector system and condensers shall CI/ MS.
Condensate Extraction Pump – LKH10
For extracting out condensate from effect III and the condenser of the evaporation plant complete with electric drive motor, coupling, mechanical seal, cover and base frame.
Steam / Condensate Piping
All piping in M.S. For steam, including control valve with bypass arrangement up to E I and for condensate from each individual effect up to the battery limit point.
Electrical to interconnect equipment in JISL scope within specified battery limits & exclusions. Comprising PVC insulated, Aluminium conductor cables for motive power.
Necessary GI painted perforated cable trays, GI `A' class drop pipes shall be provided. MCC shall also be in JISL scope of supply.
