The machine can work all these thicknesses: 2 x are two layers of plastic (front and back of the bag) and 4 x are four layers (when you do bottom folding on the bag, weld 4 layers). Some will be more optimal than others depending on the lip radius of the welding rod which is usually 1.0 mm to 1.2 mm. For example, if you wanted to weld polypropylene, the radius would be approx. 0.3 mm; the one that the machine currently has is suitable for the materials and thicknesses indicated.
From a thickness > 45 microns, the use of a pre-welder is recommended to ensure maximum performance.

The machine has been modified to also make plastic envelopes, although it would be sold together with all its loop equipment.
To return to loop configuration, the company that will purchase the machine would only have to re-lengthen the machine bed.
Although not shown in the video, there is a separate robotic pick-up table, which is included, for the loop bag product.
Therefore, in summary, both products can be produced on the machine.
