Production technology: extrusion of a Polystyrene tube and then heating and forming of the PS tubes to produce a "1 piece" pipette. A silk screen printing machine for printing of 2 colors: a black printed scale and a top printed in a different color, to identify the pipette size. Production capability: 1, 2, 5, 10 and 25 ml pipettes, either individually wrapped or 25 pcs/pouch. Production capacity: approximately 3,000 pcs. per hour.

The production line is composed of:

1. Extrusion line including:
Extruder: Boston Mathews – screw diameter 45mm.: Vacuum bath Caterpillar Cutting machine

2. Forming machine: a custom made machine, including a pipette feeder. This machine was uniquely designed for this line and is performing a few actions: Heating a PS tube which is double the length of the final product. Stretching the PS tube to create the pipette top and tip. Cutting the tube to make 2 pipettes.

3. Silk Printing machine: GPE 24 – 2D for printing 2 colors on the pipette: black color scale and a colored top for identifying the pipette size.
Including an automatic feeder: from the forming machine to the packaging machine

4. Packaging machine: Colimatic THERA 650 including the tooling for the packaging of: 1st tool: 1ml, 2ml - individually wrapped. 2nd tool: 5ml, 10ml – individually wrapped. 3rd tool: 25ml – individually wrapped. 4th tool: 1,2,5,10 ml (not including 25ml) - 25 pcs / pouch
