The mechanical dryers operate as a centri­fuge for film, regrind and mixed plastics. The wet fractions and the fines are mechanically dried in this centrifuged dryer and at the same time the contaminations are removed by the high impact energy and then will be evacuated. As an intensive washer, this unit uses a high volume of water to remove contaminates such as paper la­bels (pulp) from the fraction. For the washing of the flakes, there comprises a housing in which a special high-speed agitator rotates, a polygon shaped screen basket made from stainless steel, double outboard bearings, mechanical cleaning device for the screen surface pneumatically opera­ted with additional rinsing device.
