In a continuous process the material is heated to its specific softening temperature area which is below the corresponding melting point. The result is a high-quality agglomerate with high bulk density, easy to dose, with lowest possible thermal damage. The feeding screw pre-compacts the plastic to be recycled and feeds it to the Plast-Compactor's disc pair. Kneading and rolling between the discs creates friction heat and plasticise, sinters and compresses the material. Housing: heavy welded steel sheet construction.
