In 2016 the OFRU distiller lay-out was changed to ensure that the wash room area was optimally positioned, with health and safety in-mind, this was accomplished by placing the dirty and distillate 1000 litre solvent tanks on the outside of the wash room as pictured. Piping was then plumbed in such a way to connect to the Renzmann washer to call distilled solvent and send dirty solvent to the OFRU distiller as required, eliminating unnecessary handling of solvents by the operator. Reverting back to original lay-out is not a challenge.
