This unit can be used as a dryer or as an dry intensive washer. The mechanical dryers operate as a centri­fuge for film, regrind and mixed plastics. The wet fractions and the fines are mechanically dried in this centrifuged dryer and at the same time the contaminations are removed by the high impact energy and then will be evacuated.
As an intensive washer, this unit uses a high volume of water to remove contaminates such as paper la­bels (pulp) from the fraction. For the washing of the flakes, there comprises a housing in which a special high-speed agitator rotates, a polygon shaped screen basket made from stainless steel, double outboard bearings, mechanical cleaning device for the screen surface pneumatically opera­ted with additional rinsing device. Models T 508-T 2015 (Rotor and housing is in mild steel, housing inside is special protected by 2K paint). Rotor wings at the ends are fitted with bolted wear plates. The feedstock that has contaminates or a high percen­tage of paper, an automatic mechanical cleaning scraper is used on the exterior surface of the screen drum.

-Better access; even the preceding dryers already were equipped with hingeable housing covers; the covers of the new generation 1016 and 2016 can even be hinged open on tow sides. A total removal of the housing cover with the help of a fork truck or a crane.
- Better anti-wear protection for the screens.
-Better anti-wear protection for paddles. Our stan­dard paddles are made of an wear-proof material. For particularly abrasive materials there a re paddles with a welded-on anti-wear protection.
- The standard version of our housings (starting with
size T 1015) is galvanized, no corrosion problems.
-For materials with bad flowing properties there are dryers with forced feeding via screw bunkers.
