The machine had been purchased for slitting and trimming flocked or abrasive labels, and the oscillating winding was a specific request in order to increase the size of the drop roll and thus increase output by reducing the frequency of roll changes. This is an interesting option, depending on the product being cut. It can be set to non-oscillating. Label die-cutting is feasible, depending on the type of die, and can be adapted to a wide range of formats. See photos of the latest products cut, which are sinusoidally edged, but it's the tool that determines this type of edging. You can also do straight edging, depending on the shape of the tool (as shown in the photos of the linked machine). You'll also see a label peeled off to see the type of adhesive.
